Meadow Park Sports Center

Meadow Park Sports Centre (Only 4 km North of Whistler Town Plaza)

Meadow Park Sports Centre is Whistler’s full-service local community recreation centre. Get a workout in aerobics, bodybuilding, yoga, and personal weight training.

There’s also ice skating and pick-up hockey and everything is open and available to visitors and locals alike.

Features

Located off Highway 99, near the Alpine Meadows subdivision, about 4 kilometers north of Whistler Village is the Meadow Park Sports Centre. Access Meadow Park Sports Centre by Alpine Meadows or Emerald Estates bus routes. They stop at the front door. It is also accessible by the Valley Trail if you are biking or walking in the summer. There is free parking, a baseball diamond, picnic tables, BBQs, and a small children’s waterpark area behind the building.

All Facilities open 6 AM to 10 PM and the children’s pool is open from 8:30 AM to 9 PM.

Swimming

  • Meadow Park has a 25-metre, six lane swimming pool with a sauna, hot tub, ape-swing, eight foot slide, and basketball net.
  • There’s a child’s pool with water playgrounds and a small outdoor water park.
  • Towels rental available.
  • Aquatic programs are available for all ages and levels.

Squash

  • Meadow Park has 2 indoor squash courts
  • Courts are available for 45 minute durations
  • Racquets, goggles, and balls can also be rented
  • Private lessons and racquet restringing is available

Skating

  • Meadow Park has an NHL-sized ice rink surface
  • Skate rentals, helmets, push bars available for rent
  • Call for drop-in hockey times
  • Public skating from noon – 3 PM

Gym

  • Free weights, Cybex selectorized machines, rowers, and more
  • Fully renovated 4500 square foot
  • Aerobics, step, pilates, boxfit classes, and circuit-training

Programs

 

Programs are open for everyone, visitors and locals alike. They are offered at either Meadow Park Sports Centre or the Myrtle Philip Community Centre. Call ahead for details and registration.
